Once you complete 2 years at one of 109 community colleges in California, you can transfer to more than 100 well known universities in California and to over 1000 universities in the US!

For 2+2 a student would study at a community college for 2 years, taking all required general education classes, and then transfer to a university for an additional 2 years to complete the requirements to earn a bachelor’s degree. The 2+2 idea not only saves thousands of dollars to the international student, but it gives them priority over students who are not transfer students, and also serves as a transition period to help students get better acclimated to the U.S. education system. So 2+2 equals more than just 4, it equals success for you, the international student.
